Last minute Christmas ideas
Christmas is less than two weeks away now, and there is still time to put in a last minute order! My ear warmers make excellent gifts, and they have been a really popular item this fall. There hasn't been much snow yet, but you can bet it's coming at some point! Make sure your kiddos and loved ones are prepared :)
I recently had a giveaway on my Facebook page because I reached 75 'likes'. I gave away the fun, vintage ear warmer below.

Sock Monkey
I tried my hand at a new hat this fall upon request from a customer. A sock monkey! It ended up turning out really cute, and I'm excited to add this to my collection of creations!
Also wanted to share a picture of some really fun ear warmers I recently did for a custom order. These ones in particular were for tweens, but they could certainly be done in adult or girl's size too. I love the color combinations.
Remember to get your Christmas orders in soon!

Ear warmers and Tigers
Funny title, isn't it? Well that's because my orders for ear warmers have taken off! I found a great, new yarn that is thick and soft. It makes a cozy, warm ear warmer. I like ear warmers because they don't give us ladies hat hair, and they are stylish! It's fun to add some pizazz with a fun button or flower.
Since the Detroit Tigers made it in to the World Series, I thought it would be fun to display on of my team spirit hats. This one is for a little head, but of course it can be made in any size!

More ear warmer fun. This one is for a 9 year old girl. :)

Ear warmers
I'm really loving ear warmers this fall. The main reason I like them is that I think they're a fun alternative to a hat. It's easy to get creative with colors and buttons, and very stylish. Available in women's and girl's sizing!

Summer crochet
Hi Friends!
I can't believe summer is nearly over. And guess what....I have not been doing much crocheting this summer! I do have good reason though. We sold our house in June, moved out, and are working on building our new home. Exciting stuff!
That's not the only reason I haven't been hard at work though. I find it so hard to sit down and crochet in the summer. There is so much daylight, the weather is warm, and honestly, crocheting is just not on my mind. But, I'm really going to get my buns in gear and work towards a craft show this fall. I've never done one, and have been saying I'm going to for a few years. Whether or not I can get enough stock ready in time for this fall craft season is the question. If there are any seasoned crafters out there, would you share with me just how much stock you bring to a show? I'd love your tips and tricks!
I would also love customer input as to what you would like to see/buy at a craft show. That way I can have plenty on-hand of my best selling designs.

Mission accomplished!
My 200 flower order is DONE! (Well pretty much, just have to put pins on the back.) I hope the ladies event is happy with them. It was a fun project to keep me busy. Just thought I'd share a couple pictures of my bountiful flower creations!

Early Spring
The weather in Michigan has been crazy these past few weeks. We're experiencing a very early spring, almost summer. I'm not complaining though! Just in time for this spring fever is an order for 200 flowers!
They are for a woman's event, and I'm so excited to get the opportunity to do this. It seems like a huge amount, but I'm slowly working away at them. All colors and sizes...pretty much free rein! Hopefully, I will still like crocheting flowers after this! ;) I'll post a picture when they're completed.

Little boy slippers
My little son told me his feet were cold the other day. So, what does a good crochet Mom do? Make those feet some warm slippers! I love this varigated yarn too. These are just a great cozy, winter item!

Owl hat revamp
Welcome to the new year! I'm looking forward to a great year full of new, fun projects. I hope to be in my first craft show this fall, so I'm already trying to start building my inventory. I would love some input or ideas on what you think would be a best seller or popular item!
I'd also like to add a picture of my revamped owl hats. Alot of customers were having problems with the button eyes falling off, so I've decided to eliminate them completely. Instead, I'm just doing a colored yarn pupil. I think this adds another dimension to the eyes as well! If you ordered an owl hat from me, and your buttons are missing or fall off, please contact me and I will be happy to make the new eyes on your hat free of charge.
