No excuse

Oh my goodness. It's been almost a year since I've updated my website! I have no excuse for my lack of updating...except that we moved in to a new house and then moved out of it all within this year. That's in other news though! It's crochet season once again, and though it's been a bit slower this year, I have added some fun new items to my collection. I made the boys camo owl hats (which fit them perfectly!), new ear warmer styles, some cozy cowels, and of course my traditional kids/baby hats. I will try to post some pictures of the newer items I've done over the past year. I look forward to trying to keep this blog up to date in the coming months!

It's a new year!

Happy New Year everyone! 2013 is upon us, and I can't wait to see what's in store. I'm hopeful this will be a creative year for me,and I look forward to working on new projects and welcoming new customers. Just a quick share- this matching hat and scarf set I made for my best friend's daughter. I love the way it turned out! Looking forward to serving you in 2013~

Last minute Christmas ideas

Christmas is less than two weeks away now, and there is still time to put in a last minute order! My ear warmers make excellent gifts, and they have been a really popular item this fall. There hasn't been much snow yet, but you can bet it's coming at some point! Make sure your kiddos and loved ones are prepared :) I recently had a giveaway on my Facebook page because I reached 75 'likes'. I gave away the fun, vintage ear warmer below.

Sock Monkey

I tried my hand at a new hat this fall upon request from a customer. A sock monkey! It ended up turning out really cute, and I'm excited to add this to my collection of creations!
Also wanted to share a picture of some really fun ear warmers I recently did for a custom order. These ones in particular were for tweens, but they could certainly be done in adult or girl's size too. I love the color combinations.
Remember to get your Christmas orders in soon!

Ear warmers and Tigers

Funny title, isn't it? Well that's because my orders for ear warmers have taken off! I found a great, new yarn that is thick and soft. It makes a cozy, warm ear warmer. I like ear warmers because they don't give us ladies hat hair, and they are stylish! It's fun to add some pizazz with a fun button or flower.
Since the Detroit Tigers made it in to the World Series, I thought it would be fun to display on of my team spirit hats. This one is for a little head, but of course it can be made in any size!

Ear warmers

I'm really loving ear warmers this fall. The main reason I like them is that I think they're a fun alternative to a hat. It's easy to get creative with colors and buttons, and very stylish. Available in women's and girl's sizing!
